Space X Crew is planned to be the sixth crewed operational NASA Commercial Crew flight of a crew dragon spacecraft. And it will be ninth overall crewed orbital. NASA will provide coverage of upcoming launch and launch activities of agency’s Space X Crew mission with astronauts to International Space station. The launch is scheduled for for 2:07 a.m. EST, Sunday, Feb. 26, from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
Crew arrival at Kennedy launch, the post launch news conference and docking average will air live on NASA television along with in NASA app and agency’s website. NASA will also host audio news teleconference following agency’s flight ad launch readiness reviews. The crew -6 will carry two NASA astronauts who are mission commander Stephen Bowen and Pilot Warren Hoburg. Astronaut Sultan Alneydati and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev will serve as mission specialists.
The launch is sixth crew mission with astronauts using Space X Dragon spacecraft on a Falcon 9 rocket to orbiting laboratory which is a part of agency’s Commercial Crew Program. The Dragon is named Endeavour. The deadline has passed for media accreditation for in person coverage of this launch.
